This week Momentum Engineering’s General Manager - Paul Dragovic and Jemena’s Northern Gas Pipeline Project Director – Jonathan Spink visited the Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge Centre to provide a joint donation of $10,000 to support this worthy cause for the local community.

Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge works to keep women and children safe and free from violence in the Barkly Region (NT). TCWR is a not for profit organisation providing free accommodation, domestic violence counselling, education, community awareness, support, basic personal items, food, outreach and emergency relief in the forms of food vouchers or power cards. TCWR is an 8 bed service operating 24 hours 7 days a week. For 2017 TCWR provided safe accommodation to hundreds of women and children. TCWRC is a small team but have been doing life-saving work in the Barkly Region for over 30 years.

Paul Dragovic explains, “It was a privilege for me to meet with Shirleen Alum and her staff at Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge. They are amazing people and provide a vital service for the local community.”
