Robogals Perth – Lead Volunteers Training Workshop

13 Mar 2017 12:15 PM -

In an effort to encourage and show support to women in engineering, Momentum recently sponsored the Lead Volunteers Training Workshop held by Robogals Perth in March.

Robogals is an International, non‐profit, student run organisation aimed at encouraging young women to study engineering and related subjects at a tertiary level.

Robogals Perth, based at the University of Western Australia, holds a number of small events around campus to benefit volunteers or inspire young girls to learn more about engineering and related fields. Their aim is to inspire girls to study and work in engineering, by providing free volunteer‐run workshops to schools to inform and inspire girls.

The Lead Volunteers Training Workshop was a success and had a high turnout of 25 lead volunteers.

“On behalf of Robogals Perth, a big thank you to Momentum Engineering for sponsoring this event and making it possible. We look forward to working with Momentum Engineering in the near future and to seeing Momentum Engineering soon!”
